Scotsman Ice Systems has been manufacturing ice machines since 1950. According to the company, all machines comply to European requirements and to the most important regulations and, since July 2006, all models are RoHS compliant.
In July the company began manufacturing the new Super-flake ice machines MF46-56 and 58-68Split, replacing the old models MF41-51 and 52-62Split. These machines are suitable for food service and food retail applications.
The production capacity has not been changed but the following advantages are now offered:
• External finishing in stainless steel scotch-brite finish. The side panels now have rounded corners for enhanced ease of cleaning and aesthetics and the top cover is made from ABS plastic
• Removable side panels on all four sides to ease maintenance and after-sales service operations
• Height has been reduced by approximately 60mm
• New wiring improves safety and reliability
• Additional accessories for ice management
