LIMA S.A.S has introduced its largest capacity fish meat bone separator, allowing the processing of large fish co-products - such as raw tuna fish heads - while keeping an optimum yield in separated meat.

The company says that the result is well-preserved, recovered raw tuna head meat with technological performances allowing the production of the highest quality fish oil.

This separator, model RM 1200 S, has an input capacity up 12,000kg/hr (26,400lbs), depending on raw material and application.

These machines have all the benefits of other LIMA separators, including: no extra pre-breaking; low temperature increase; and protected recovered product. They also have simple yield adjustment and short down time for cleaning and thanks to their ergonomic concept they are hygienic and operator friendly.
