Kjellberg Finstaerwalde has introduced plasma cutting machines for cutting materials up to 40 mm thickness the Cutline 20W and Cutline 40W, aimed at the processing machinery sector.

Kjellberg's plasma cutting machines can cut up to 40mm thickness

By using the FineFocus principle with Double-Straight effect - known from our machine torches for CNC-technique - the Kjellberg-FineFocus torches are reaching an excellent cutting quality. Both sides of the cut can be used. Due to the small cutting kerfs loss of material and pollution are minimized.

The company claims there are very low operational costs when using water-cooled FineFocus plasma torches. The direct cooling principle for the consumables is reaching a five to six times higher life time of nozzles and cathodes. Caused by cooling of consumables on the spot of heat generation no wear of torch body can be established. But also a soft-start circuit for cutting start and piercing is increasing longevity of nozzles and cathodes. Compared with air-cooled plasma torches air consumption is reduced by nearly 80 %. By all these measures the user's running costs can be cut clearly says Kjellberg.

The Cutline 40W offers a clean and easy alternative to carbon arc gouging because there is no aftertreatment, low heat input and very low distortion. It is perfectly suitable for the removal of welding seam defects, cracks, inclusions, cast iron cleaning and so on. The process easily can be followed visual, noise level and smoke formation are widely reduced.

Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers a wide range of accessories (e.g. circle attachments, wheel guides, tractors, bevel caps and bevel cutting attachment) for all plasma hand torches, which enable the operator to solve various cutting problems. Therefore we recommend these units for the frequently use not only in steel construction.

The ctx's new discharge conveyor allows gentler product handling.

The new, longer discharge conveyor allows operators to intercept trays and tip cooked product into the chillier, thereby reducing product damage and improving product quality.

This platform makes tray feeding safer, easier, and faster by boosting operators to the optimal height for infeed access.

In its upright position, becomes a step that operators can stand on while feeding trays into the cooker.

Converting the platform is quick and easy - no tools required.

These options also make laitram's model CTX steam cooker more versatile, since cookers equipped with the new features can be used for bulk processing as well as tray cooking. For both applicants, the CTX gently processes shellfish in a pure, saturated steam environment (212oF, or 100oC).

The CTXcan be be paired with Laitram's model LCC compact chillier, Which dramatically reduces the core temperature of cooked product to preserve quality and prevent overcooking.

Additionally, the LCC compact chillier provides exactly the right capacity for the CTX's output.

Laitram offers a wide range of cooking and cooling equipment for different types of fish but specialising in equipment for shrimp.

Last year Laitram released its new G-8 shrimp grading system.
