Flow Water Technologies has developed the FlowSafe DCD 2000 Combined Drinking Water and Disinfection Unit to cater for all types and sizes of fishing vessel.

The FlowSafe DCD 2000 provides fishing vessels with limitless disinfectant and drinking water, eliminating the need for plastic-bottled drinking water and additional chemicals.
“Installing FlowSafe DCD 2000 means a reduction of costs spent on bottled water and disinfectant, a freeing up of valuable space as bottles are no longer needed, and helps with the fight against the impact of plastics at sea,” said Mark Hadfield, CEO, Flow Water Technologies Ltd.
The FlowSafe DCD 2000 Unit, which can be scaled up for cleaning and sanitising any size of vessel, produces an unlimited amount of sustainable disinfectant, while simultaneously eradicating the CO2 footprint caused by the manufacture of plastic bottles.
In addition to producing disinfectant, FlowSafe DCD 2000 unit also produces a limitless supply of drinking water by way of a commercial level pre-filtration in front of specially selected ultra-filtration.
“Our ambition was to create a unit that helped reduce the use of plastics at sea to save the environment while ensuring the health and safety of people working at sea remained paramount.”
Flow Water Technologies offers fishing vessel owners the option of finance packages to equip their vessels with FlowSafe DCD 2000 water/ disinfectant units. FlowSafe DCD 2000 has already been awarded all the correct approval certificates.
