Denmark''s Daconet has registered a patent on what it says is a revolutionary and simple way to assemble inner nets with wall meshes, using the already-known edgemesh twine.
It says its new DACO TYPE trammel nets took five years to develop and the result is movable wall meshes which are not drawn out of shape. The most important advantages are that there are no knots to hook the netting, no slipping knots in assembling, the walls remain always in the right shape and there is no remaining tape that sticks.
It also says there is optimal catching ability from day one and they are fast to rig. The overall result is a more competitive price. It adds that the nets are exceptionally strong, of fine quality and with a breaking strength guarantee. They will be on display at stand D-803 at DanFish.
