Processing equipment manufacturer for small fish, Peruza said it has bucked the trend for cyclic weighing to introduce continuous volume dozing.
The Latvian company’s small fish volume dozing line with two dozing heads delivers up to 20 doses per minute, equivalent to 6-15kg of dosed fish each. The average capacity of the line is 10 tonnes of dosed small fish per hour.
Arnis Petranis, chairman of the board, said Peruza’s dozing line delivers remarkable accuracy of the dose. It is a maximum of 3% out either way on the target volume.
The line consists of a receiving hopper with a two line elevator, volume dozing equipment PR 1015, supply and distribution conveyors of trays and plastic bags, and an electrical control box.
It has been successfully tested in Estonia for the past two years and now orders for the lines are coming in from other markets.
