ScanBas 365 has an intuitive interface with a modular drag and drop layout, quick and easy sensor configuration, as well as new advanced tracking functions and remote help and control. It features a spider graph panel cruise control feature which provides a simple overview of crucial data and identifies deviations outside set tolerances.

“The new ScanBas 365 represents a milestone,” a spokesman for the company said.

Interface flexibility is an important component of the system. Scanmar explained that that a user’s prioritised sensor data can greatly depend on the trawling style, as well as environmental challenges unique to the user’s fishing area.

Sensor data can be put on up to six different monitors, scaled to any size. This gives the option of having screens with lots of details in one window, or even having just one parameter featured.

Configurational possibilities are limitless and can be modified at any time and saved to a specific profile.

The physical components of the system are made up by the newly developed WDR-42 receiver and an industrial marine computer to replace older ScanBas systems, including SRU.
