The theme this year will be Global Aquaculture: Securing our future and the event will focus on how science plays a fundamental role in the development of the global aquaculture industry.

During the event, there will be technical sessions on farmed fish, shellfish, algal and crustacean species across all climatic zones and continents.

A workshop will take place on 1 September, organised by the EAS Thematic Group on European Percid Fish Culture (EPFC). It will feature a keynote presentation and three thematic sessions on broadstock management and fingerling production, on-growing and nutrition and marketing and training.

Immediately following the trade show, there will be two special one day farm tours to allow delegates to visit farming activities in the Czech Republic – focusing firstly on pond aquaculture then on trout.

Abstracts are still being accepted for the conference and the provisional programme will be available at the end of April.
