Canada’s AgriMarine intends to acquire a fellow Canadian steelhead trout farm in a bid to increase its sustainable fin fish offering.
The company has signed a term sheet towards a definitive sale agreement of British Columbian based West Coast Fishculture.
Under the terms, AgriMarine will acquire all outstanding shares of West Coast Fishculture for cash. But this is subject to approvals by the TSX Venture Exchange. The acquisition price is as yet undisclosed.
AgriMarine wants to build a global portfolio of salmon and trout fish farms.
