Stand: 4-6015 DSI has delivered a number of plate freezers over the last few months, and has many orders for the future.
Recently delivered and current orders include:
• 10 horizontal plate freezers for JSC Gidrostroy in Sakhalin Region, Russia - this is the fourth delivery of more than 40 DSI freezers for this customer
• 32 vertical plate freezers for the Dutch company Parlevliet & Van der Plas BV’s vessel Dirk Diederik
• 22 vertical plate freezers for Icelandic company Uthafsskip
• 24 horizontal plate freezers for a Seattle based fishing company
• 28 vertical plate freezers for the company Levert Shipping’s vessel El Nino
• 26 vertical plate freezers for Katla Seafood’s vessel Beta
DSI says that the increase in demand has led to longer delivery times, and to compensate for this the company’s production has worked overtime. However, to reduce the pressure on production, the company has outsourced parts and components and has rented production facilities and manpower at nearby workshops.
As the high level of activity seems to be continuing DSI has felt the need to improve its own production capacity and has bought nearby factory buildings with 1,000m2 of production facilities, and the existing production will be extended with another 500m2 new building.
DSI is also investing in a new state of the art machining centre in order to increase capacity to manufacture components in-house.
