Palfinger cranes for live fish carrier duo

A pair of new live fish carriers have been equipped with Palfinger lifting solutions to help enhance efficiency and safety

The Spanish-built live vessels Inter Scotia and Inter Atlantic were built at the Zamakona shipyard in Bilbao and are currently operating in Scottish waters. The Palfinger order was awarded by Norwegian wellboat company, Intership.

The order comprised three Palfinger Marine PTM 600A telescopic boom cranes, each fitted with a two-winch setup for efficient hose handling. Each vessel is also equipped with a PK 18500M foldable knuckle boom crane.
