As a component and solution supplier for equipment mainly ''around'' a marine diesel engine, Technoflex has been involved in the development and delivery of a variety of different equipment.
This equipment ranges from heavy duty oil level sensors mounted on the world's largest diesel engines, flexible couplings for propulsion or genset purpose, hydraulic starting set for emergency gensets into advanced engine supervision and control panels for boats.
Lately Technoflex began producing its own propulsion coupling dedicated to smaller boats and ships and is involved in more projects with SCR-plants where the target is to considerably reduce the NOx content in the exhaust.
“Exhaust 'cleaning' will be a must for the marine sector in the future,” says sales manager, Jens Mortensen and technical manager, Johnny Pedersen. Technoflex already has experience with exhaust cleaning on land-based equipment on the particulate side but also on SCR-systems where NOx reduction as high as 85% has recently been proved.
