The Icelandic fishing company Uthafsskip, which operates two freezer trawlers, recently received a second pair of trawler winches for one of its trawlers, Glorya.
The winches were supplied by Ibercisa and a pair of electrical trawler winches for the vessel Victory had previously been delivered by the company.
Both principal trawler winches supplied are independent and electrically driven, with a frequency converter and controlled by an automatic trawling system. The winches are driven by an electrical motor of 485CV, provided with a drum with capacity for 4,000m of cable, diameter 32mm and with 40t as maximum traction.
