World Plastics introduced two new products for swordfish and tuna longline fishermen at WFE.
Today's longliners are increasingly challenged with reducing operating costs, while improving their catch rates. World Plastics' new Chemilures® Doublestick™ and Chemilures® One™ lightsticks, are claimed to be engineered to do both.
The Doublestick's design doubles the longevity of a standard six inch lightstick to four-plus days, while retaining performance. This makes for economical fishing trips, and enhances catch rates.
The Chemilures® One™ lightstick is an economical four inch lightstick that glows "Super Bright for One Night". Its light curve has been engineered to attract fish/bait from longer distances, putting more fish on the deck, therefore increasing profitability.
At the show, both new products were extremely well received by longline fisherman, as well as fishing gear distributors worldwide.
