Spanish refrigeration company Tucal is continuing its work in Russia, having carried out several important projects with vertical plate freezers, icy water plants and other supplies for different customers in recent years.

The most recent project was completed in early October, for a series of Russian vertical plate freezers which will freeze about 40 tons of fish per day onboard. Due to a highly mechanised production process, the customer will be able to collect the units in a record time of less than four weeks.

Tucal is now manufacturing another series of Russian freezers, also for service onboard, with an estimated capacity for 65 tons per day.

A representative of Tucal has recently participated at the last edition of Neva in St. Petersburg, having found a huge potential not only for plate freezers, but also for turnkey refrigeration installations.

Tucal will also launch its new model of vertical plate freezers soon. This features an automatic unloading system - an easy and simple system which allows the user do the unloading of the freezer without any effort and in minimum time, and without the requirement for additional space. Also, thanks to an innovative design with fewer components, Tucal says that this system can be afforded by any company user of vertical plate freezers.
