The design, by Morris Bray Martin Ollmann Architects, will be a major enhancement to the SFM site, opening up access to the harbour where Sydney’s fishing fleet are moored.

Works will involve construction of a new 12m wide boardwalk which will extend the boardwalk by 1m, increase seating capacity and create overhead cover to enable all-weather trading.

SFM will operate as normal throughout the construction period, which will be conducted in a single stage to minimise disruption.
