The International Shipbuilding, Maritime, Port and Fishing Trade Fair takes place between 24th and 27th January 2007 in Bilbao, Spain.
As well as the commercial exhibition, it will include the second General Assembly of Europêche (Association of the European Union's National Fishery Organisations), the meeting of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) for North-western Waters, and technical conferences on shipping as a whole.
A full programme is planned for owners visiting the show, including a top-level fishing conference on the new Structural Funds. Organising events is a commission composed of representatives of the Basque Government's Department of Agriculture, Foodstuffs and Fisheries and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade, the Basque Maritime Forum, the Federation of Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa Guilds, the Deep-sea Fish Producers' Organisation, the National Association of Tuna Freezing Vessels, and the exhibition organising team.
