Seigla delivers Heidi to Norway

Heidi is a net fishing vessel and is the third 13m boat from Seigla delivered to Norway this year. Another will follow within a few weeks.

As is standard with all larger Seigur boats, the vessel includes a HMI (Human Machine Interface) and is of GRP sandwich PVC construction. It is made by VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding) and features a drop keel and integrated windows in the construction.

The engine has an Europafilter installed for oil cleaning, significantly reducing the number of times the oil is changed.

A Cummins Onan 13.5Kw generator is installed for extra power supply. Together with the ASC (Automatic Start Control) system and the Studer HP-Compact 4400-24 4Kw inverter/charger, the power supply is guaranteed.

On the engine there are two hydraulic pumps installed, 1x147l and 1x75l, both from Danfoss Sauer.

Navigation equipment was delivered by Elektro Bodø AS in Norway and installed by Rafröst in Iceland. All equipment is installed neatly in the dashboard and beside the captain.

There are four screens in the dashboard, 2x17” and 2x19”:

• 19” for Furuno M-1834CBB Radar
• 17” for Roxann
• 19” for Olex plotter
• 17” for Skipper ETF38E fishfinder

Two cranes for the fishing equipment from Amco Veba are installed, one on the roof of the wheelhouse, the smaller crane on the roof of the engine house. Smådal-Mekaniske will take care of the delivery and installation of the fishing equipment.
