John Ross’ historic brick kilns on the east coast of Scotland (Aberdeen) date back to 1857 and have been listed by Historic Scotland for their cultural significance

The honour continues the company’s longstanding relationship with the Royal Household, following 30 years of holding the Royal Warrant for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“Receiving the Royal Warrant of Appointment from His Majesty The King is a privilege beyond measure. For over three decades, we have taken great pride in upholding the highest standards for her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and it is a true honour to continue this tradition in service to the king. This recognition inspires us to remain at the forefront of our craft, honouring the heritage and excellence that has come to define John Ross. We would like to thank our loyal customers and partners for their support, which has been instrumental in maintaining our reputation as one of the finest producers of smoked salmon in the world,” John Ross CEO Christopher Leigh said.

John Ross  supplies its smoked salmon nationally, directly to fishmongers, delicatessens, hotels, restaurants and retailers (both independent and multiples) as well as to over 25 countries around the world. It is also a two-time winner of the Queen’s Award for Export in 2000 and 2016.
