New non-profit will seek to increase the consumption of sustainable shrimp through education and inspiration

In a collaboration aimed at growing the per capita consumption of sustainable shrimp, the non-profit Global Shrimp Council (GSC) has been officially established with backing from the United States’ National Fisheries Institute (NFI) and the initial support of more than 20 companies committed to joining GSC as founding members.
