Sea Pact has announced its third Request for Grant Proposals.
The organisation’s grant process awards funds to projects that are most aligned with its goals - Fishery and Aquaculture Improvement Projects, habitat restoration efforts, scientific research and other like-minded efforts.
Responses are due by 25 August 2014 and the grant recipients will be announced in October.
To apply for funding, organisations are asked to fill out the RFP document available on the Sea Pact website.
“We’ve learned so much from the prior two rounds and are excited to see what innovative projects this new request will connect us with,” said Logan Kock, Vice President of Strategic Purchasing & Responsible Sourcing at Santa Monica Seafood and Chair of the Sea Pact Advisory Committee. “Even if we don’t award a project funding, submitting it still gets it in front of an influential group of decision makers from various sectors.”
