Following an operational decision, the Scottish Fisheries Sustainability Accreditation Group (SFSAG) has announced that it has changed its certification body for the MSC assessment of North Sea nephrops.
Claire Pescod, MSC’s UK Fisheries Outreach Manager says: “Changing Certification Bodies is a relatively straightforward process and will enable the SFSAG and their new certifier, MacAlister Elliot and Partners to move forward, building on the work already started by Moody Marine. It is good to see the SFSAG’s ongoing commitment to MSC certification and we look forward to continuing to work with them through the fishery assessment.”
