Perkins Sabre has added to its range of commercial engines with the new Perkins Sabre M85T, M92 and M115T.
According to the UK based company, all have been engineered for reliability and durability and have successfully completed recent sea trials.
The engines are easy to install, with straightforward maintenance and extended service intervals.
At the lower end of the power range, the Perkins Sabre M65 is now backed up by the new M92 which replaces one of the companies most successful engines, the M90 and the M130C.
The low-stressed 3l M65 develops 65hp at 2,600rpm, while the 4.2 litre M92.
The 6 cylinder, 6 litre M130C is widely acknowledged to offer the lowest running costs of any engine in its class.
The Perkins Sabre turbocharged models now start with the new 3l 4 cylinder M85T. Next in the range is the M115T which develops 115hp at 2,400rpm.
The turbocharged and intercooled M185C, a 6 litre engine that develops 188hp at 2,100rpm.
Meanwhile the company has reported success in Denmark with the sale of its engines to Danish boat builder Awi Boats.
The Danish company has bought the boats to power two of its most successful vessels the Awi 27 and the Awi 33.
The vessels are designed and built for the waters around the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland.
