Marelec premiered its redesigned compact grader M3/6 at Seafood Processing Global in Brussels in May.

The company has applied the H-design concept that it has successfully used on its weighing and grading solutions for the past two years. The open structure allows all parts of the compact grader to be reached for optimum hygiene. The basic structure, that guarantees the robustness, has been maintained.

The system has various batching and other outfeed possibilities, from 2-8 stations, combined left/right or in line and by size. It grades the fish gently, as the product slides off the belt, instead of being launched.

Marelec compact graders are especially designed for weighing and grading small or vulnerable products, such as fish.

The company also showed its new PORTIO 1F for the first time at SPG. This machine was developed specifically for the fish industry, to portion fillets and flat products to fixed weights.
