The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking proposals for technical assistance, services and goods for "The Oceans and Fisheries Partnership".

The goal is to strengthen regional cooperation for sustainable and legal management and trade of natural resources in Asia by increasing the ability of regional fisheries organisations to conserve marine biodiversity and combat IUU fishing in the Asia-Pacific region. The activity also aims to improve fisheries management standards through integration of conservation and fisheries management in at least eight countries in the Asia-Pacific region by 2020.

The Activity will focus on combating IUU fishing and seafood fraud, promoting biodiversity conservation, and improving food security through the Ecosystems Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) and a regional catch documentation and traceability (CDT) system for living marine resources.
