Piriou has just delivered three new longliners to Noumea in New Caledonia.

The order comprises the second part of one made in October 2017 by Navimon, a subsidiary of Sem Sodil. Navimon has ordered a series of eight 20.7m longliners for longline tuna fishing in the New Caledonia exclusive economic zone.
The first two vessels of the series delivered in November 2018 have been in operation for a year and are proving ideal for the requirements of the ship owner.
The firm order for the third part - three sister ships - was confirmed in early November 2019 for delivery in November 2020. These three new generation units are designed to improve comfort for the crew, make maintenance operations easier, improve operating costs and answer both safety issues and new environmental standards.
