Optimar builds hydraulic ice machine
Optimar Iceland introduced a new Optim-Ice liquid ice machine at the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition 7-10. September, the BPH-105. It is hydraulic driven to meet the needs of all those without enough electrical capacity to run a liquid ice machine.
Specifications
Technical specifications: 140cm 60cm x 96 cm (LxWxH) and weighs 235 kg, with a refrigeration capacity of 13.3kW and 11.440 kcal/hr. It can make 220 l/h of 43% thick ice and 450 l/h of 10% thick ice, or around 2.3 tonnes of solid ice equivalent per day. The specifications are based upon +15° C seawater inlet temperature as the unit has an integrated pre-cooler, to ensure uniform production of Optim-Ice in seawater temperature up to +15° C.
The power consumption for hydraulic is a flow of 37 L/min. at 180 bar and the electrical power requirements are 230V/50Hz/80 W and 24 VDC/160W or only 24 VDC/. The BPH-105 runs on R-404A green refrigerant.
