World Fishing Magazine will host a live blog from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico March 6 – 10, from the first Offshore Mariculture conference held outside of Europe, reporting minute-by-minute highlights for our global web audience.

The blog will feature prominently on the conference and World Fishing and Aquaculture websites for the duration of the event and will include soundbites, photos and video as well as social media response to the presentations.
The event will include presentations from the world’s foremost experts in aquaculture technology, feed, species, marketing and investment, and will feature keynote speeches from Mexican government officials. The programme will highlight recent advances and will focus on the sustainable implementation of new offshore methods designed to maximise production and efficiency. A welcome reception will kick off proceedings and will be followed by the conference dinner hosted by the Mexican fisheries ministries INAPESCA, CONAPESCA and SEPESCA – both events will be held at a historic casino at the Riviera Cultural Centre in Ensenada.
