The Oceans Omega-3 ingredient line from Norwegian company Pharma Marine has been certified to carry the Friend of the Sea (FoS) seal of approval.
Pharma Marine is already FoS certified for the Calamarine® and CodMarine® line of EPA/DHA concentrates from sustainable seafood sources.
Oceans EPA/DHA concentrates derive from sustainable sardine and anchovy fisheries sourced by FoS approved purse seine fleets targeting stocks in areas where overfishing is not occurring.
A reliable chain of custody is maintained throughout the supply chain from fisheries to the manufacturing facility, ensuring that mixing with non-certified raw materials does not occur. Labels provide clear data regarding origin, fishing method and fishing area.
