Icelands June catch climbs 65%
A return of pelagic catches saw the total volume of fish landed by Iceland’s fishing fleet in June 2025 increase by 65% or more than 18,000 tonnes year-on-year to 45,534 tonnes, according to preliminary figures for the month gathered by the country’s Directorate of Fisheries.
