ASC launches certification hub platform
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) has launched its new Programme Centre – a new digital hub that promises to transform how certificate holders and auditors access and interact with certification documentation.
Designed to streamline workflows and reduce complexity, the all-in-one platform unites all ASC certification programmes in a single, user-friendly interface. Users can now search, filter and explore farm and feed standards dynamically, eliminating the need to navigate multiple or outdated documents.
“This tool absolutely redefines how technical content should be delivered,” said Chris Ninnes, chief executive of ASC.
“No more juggling multiple documents or squinting at tiny footnotes – it’s all in one place, easy to use and designed to make everyone’s life easier. Whether you’re an auditor, certifier, farmer or feed producer – this is your new go-to resource.”
Key features include smart filtering by production type, interactive links to footnotes and definitions and integrated access to ASC’s Resource Hub, digital audit templates, and calculation tools.
Auditors are already reporting positive results. José Carlos Morales Bermúdez Hernández, scheme manager at Control Union, said, “We’re pleased to be using the new ASC Programme Centre and see the opportunities it offers. The Programme Centre also includes the latest certification and accreditation requirements and group requirements, with more enhancements on the horizon. A step-by-step guide supports first-time users.
