Cretel launched Adamas 2 - a new fully automatic double lane skinning machine – in May, at ESE in Brussels.

Cretel says that the Adamas 2is perfectly matching the high expectations of processors looking to reduce labour costs and to optimise the yield of their processing lines. More and more they require skinning machines to be positioned in-line with the filleting machine to realise higher outputs.
The new skinner has two independently controlled skinning shoes with pre-programmed thickness adjustment to allow simultaneously skinning of two different fish species.
Special attention has been given to the operator’s safety. All removable parts are controlled by safety switches, and a safety curtain blocks access to the blade section while the machine is under operation. Adamas 2 features a fast and convenient blade change and easy disassembly of the skinning shoe.
The machine has been designed according the high Cretel standard and conforms to current CE regulations.
The Adamas 2 is fit for the automatic skinning of all kinds of fish fillets, including fine and delicate species.
