Ocean Safety is introducing a new professional man overboard device to fishing boat crews at Skipper Expo Aberdeen.
The Ocean Signal M100 can be fitted to a lifejacket or foul weather suit and will automatically activate on inflation of the jacket.
When the device is activated the crewman’s position can be detected by search and rescue resources, this is aided by an integrated GPS position which ensures a position update is provided every minute.
The M100 benefits include 12 hours of operation, two-year warranty and a five-year battery life.
It can be seen on the Caley Fisheries stand at Skipper Expo Aberdeen, on 27 May 2016 where Ocean Safety staff will be on hand to demonstrate the benefits and simplicity of the lifesaving device.
