McMurdo will once again be present at Fishing 2007 in Glasgow.
McMurdo is a producer of Emergency Location Beacons, including Emergency Positioning Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBs), Personal Locator Beacons (PRBs), Search and Rescue Transponders (SARTs), Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), NAVTEX and VHF Radios for the fishing market.
Advances are continually being made in vessel and personal location, as the products on show at Fishing 2007 demonstrate. Included are the innovative SmartFind 406 E5 and G5 EPIRB, for fast location by search and rescue services in the event of an emergency, and the MOB Guardian, the man overboard alert system which has been introduced in association the RNLI. Also on show is the invaluable FastFind PLB which every crew member should carry in their pocket.
