Belgian company Marelec Food Technologies will show its new PORTIO 1F for the first time at Seafood Processing Global 2014.

PORTIO 3A

PORTIO 3A

This machine was developed specifically for the fish industry, to portion fillets and flat products to fixed weights. The PORTIO 1F uses the proven scanning technology as on the other existing models, as well as the modular belt and rotating knife. The dimensions and features of the machine have been sized to accommodate the typical sizes of these specific products. Marelec describes the design as “revolutionary”, to allow access to all parts for optimal cleaning.

A second world premiere at SPG will be the redesigned compact grader M3/6. Marelec has applied the H-design concept that it has successfully used on its weighing and grading solutions for the past two years. The open structure allows all parts of the compact grader to be reached for optimum hygiene. The basic structure, that guarantees the robustness, has been maintained.

Also on display will be the PORTIO 3A, that allows cutting under an angle of 30° or 45°. This machine will be shown in line with a weighing unit type MC3 and a six-station grader for fast and accurate grading and batching.

Finally, Marelec will also show the latest approved marine scale and its latest innovations in MES software, the Marelec Bright Eye Software MBE.
