ECOshrimp project advances to stocking stage
Israel land-based shrimp farming company completes and stocks its first prototype tank
Israel land-based shrimp farming company ECOshrimp has completed and stocked its first commercial prototype tank.
The 8-metre-diameter, 100-cubic-metre recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) tank is equipped with filtration and life-supporting units. It is specifically designed for growing shrimp at high densities, with a production capacity of over 15kg/m3 before harvest.
