Scottish based labelling company Weber says new UK and EU fish lebelling regulations will change the way in which labels for fish products are produced.
Labels in supermarkets and retailers will now include weight, the orgin from where the fish was caught or farmed and the catch area code which can then trace the fish back to the excact area where it was caught.
Weber offers a comprehensive range of labelling and coding systems, including the Model 5200 label printer applicator.
The new system offers crisp text, in spec bar codes, and eye catching graphics at either 203 or 300dpi resolution.
All applicators in the range are Windows compatible and can apply labels up to a speed of 58 metres a minute.
