Kiotech, the supplier of high performance natural feed additives to the aquaculture, commercial fishing and sports fishing markets, has appointed Maarten Jay van Schoonhoven as Head of Aquaculture.
Mr van Schoonhoven, who has Dutch and American nationality, joins Kiotech from INVE and Salt Creek where he was sales manager across South East Asia and in the Latin and North America region too. Maarten has also worked with aquaculture supplier Catvis and has a two MSc’s from Wageningen and Cork Universities in both Biology and Aquaculture.
“We are delighted Maarten has agreed to join Kiotech,” said chief executive Richard Edwards. “His extensive sales experience and contacts around the world along with his significant practical knowledge and experience of aquaculture will be extremely beneficial as we continue to build our Aquatice business. He will complement the technical capability which we have through our partnership with Cefas and will be working closely with them.”
