The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition – or IceFish as it’s popularly known – is all set to open its doors on Wednesday 8 June, welcoming exhibitors and attendees from around the world, at Smárinn, Kópavogur, Iceland.

The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition 2022 runs 8-10 June at Smárinn, Kópavogur, Iceland

Established in 1984 and held every three years, but in this case five years due to the Covid pandemic, IceFish’s exhibiting companies will showcase their latest technologies, products and services to attendees and potential customers from a range of commercial fisheries organisations and associated businesses.

This year’s IceFish exhibition will also include:

  • · A virtual IceFish exhibition running alongside the in-person event
  • · Wider industry variety as the sector continues the move into more sophisticated seafood processing
  • · Matchmaking meetings
  • · The 8th IceFish Awards, recognising excellence in the industry

The exhibition will be officially opened by Svandís Svavarsdóttir, Icelandic Minister of Food, Fisheries and Agriculture and the Mayor of Kópavogur.
