Europêche unveils net-zero ambitions

The trade body for the European fishing industry highlights progress in decarbonising the sector whilst emphasising the need for more support

Europêche has unveiled its net-zero plans at conferences hosted by the United Nations and the European Commission.

The trade body highlighted the progress already made in the industry by the investment in selective fishing gears, and the adoption of hybrid engines and energy-efficient propellers and refrigeration systems.
