Sinomega is the first Chinese manufacturer of Omega-3 fish oils to achieve Friend of the Sea certification.

Sinomega Omega-3 fatty acids originate from fish oil manufactured by Austral Group S.A.A. in Peru and are produced by one of the best managed fisheries, which applies strict precautionary measures, implements protected areas and complies with environmental management system criteria.

Sinomega, established in 2007, is based in Zhoushan Islands, and has the biggest fishing port in China.

The company is also the first GOED (Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3) member in China, as well as the first EU-approved Chinese manufacturer of Omega-3 fish oils.

Sinomega is a subsidiary of China’s leading seafood processor Zhejiang Industrial Group - a Joint Venture with the Japanese conglomerate Maruha Nichiro.
