Euronete has introduced Euronema S.C.S. (single covered strand) to allow easy splicing. The new rope has a construction of 8x1, and each strand is covered with high tenacity PE Premium. This construction makes a nice round, has excellent abrasion properties and better spooling on the winches than a 12 strand construction.

It can be used for different applications in mid-water trawling: frame ropes, sweeps, door legs and slack lines. Euronete says that in the USA it has been used for bridles and all kinds of strops and in Europe it is being used as headlines.
