TESMA, Stromme and Polaris are joining forces as of 1 February 2007, under the Eitzen Marine Services (EMS) platform.
According to EMS, the restructuring process is to unify the three companies under the EMS name with common values and the goal of maximising synergies across the group of companies.
TESMA, supplier of technical management services to ship owners and crew management services to ship owners and ship managers, will change its name to EMS Ship Management.
Equipment manufacturer and supply and logistics provider Stromme will change its name to EMS Ship Supply.
Finally, insurance broker Polaris will become EMS Insurance Brokers.
The website www.ems-sa.com will also be launched on 1 February.
