DSI and ERLINORD have, in cooperation, developed the ABU06 – a new automatic block unloading systems for DSI standard vertical plate freezers.
This new system is unique due to the fact that it moves all the blocks at one time onto the conveyor.
The new system can also move double block system where block dividers are used.
Another great advantage with this new system is that it can be used on DSI plate freezers that are already installed. The only demand is that the freezers must be placed in a row.
The ABU06 is based on well-known and proven technology from land installations, and is the fastest way to unload frozen blocks.
The ABU06 system has been developed to fit freezer installations onboard trawlers and can easily be operated by one person by means of a remote control.
On larger installation where freezers are installed in two rows opposite each other, the ABU06 can operate both sides and can unload the freezers in the order that the operator chooses.
The ABU06 is designed to fit onboard trawlers where the deck height is limited and can be adjusted to operate where overhead conveyors are used.
ABU06 is easy to operate and the total investment is much lower than other known systems.
