A record number of visitors to the Cosalt stand at this year''s WFE helped to boost the number of orders and enquiries taken at the show.

Pride of place on the stand was the new Premier 2010 lifejacket. This is one of the first lifejackets designed to conform to the new testing requirements of the Maritime Safety Committee, being introduced in July 2010.
The product has a patented design Neck System that can adjust to the wearer's neck size so it can be worn by anyone from 43kg up to 140kg while still maintaining good face angles and mouth clearance above the water. The patented Reverse Angle Head Support holds the head at the optimum position for maximum in-water performance even if the wearer becomes unconscious. The lifejacket self-rights in an average of 1.7 seconds.
Visitors to Cosalt's stand were also keen to find out about the Cosalt Personal Recovery Device (CPRD). This is a flexible, ladder-style device, which enables casualties, conscious or unconscious, to be retrieved from the water in a horizontal position. This means there is less chance of Circum Rescue Collapse - a cardiovascular condition that is greatly aggravated by hypothermia.
Andrew Richards, Managing Director of Cosalt Marine commented: "The World Fishing Exhibition was well attended and we were very pleased with the response to our products."
