German food processing company, Baader, has opened a new office in Rugby, England, increasing the company''s warehouse footprint tenfold and expanding its local market presence.

The extension coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Lübeck-headquartered company and will replace the former 1,000 square feet location in Aberdeen in Scotland.
Baader inaugurated the new UK location with an official celebration on 24 October. Simon Jahnke, managing director of Baader UK, gave the welcoming address. “This move represents an exciting development,” he said. “The new location perfectly fits our strategic needs. We have grown our team to 14 employees in the last few years since 2009 and are pleased that the new space can accommodate our growing presence."
The new office space is centrally located in Rugby’s industrial zone with good transport connections enabling the company to strengthen its supply chain for fish, poultry and the Baader separator technology.
“The United Kingdom has been an important market for Baader for over 90 years," said Petra Baader, executive chair of Baader. "It was our first export market as early as the mid-1920s. The extension of our local presence here is a testament to the growth and success our company has experienced since its founding."
