Aquafeed, the global community of industry professionals, is running its fifth annual Extrusion Technology course in Norway this April.

The course, first held in Norway in 2015, was presented last year in Temuco in Chile. This year it returns to Norway from 15 to 17 April at the FôrTek Centre for Feed Technology in As. There is also a Food & Feed Drying programme during the previous week.
The courses are organised and presented by Australians Dennis Forte and Gordon Young and the course is relevant to both single and twin-screw extruders.
At the heart of the course is the theory behind extrusion. Sessions cover the design of extrusion processes and how the formulation affects said processes using examples to demonstrate how the theory is applied.
Plans are also in place to present the same programme in Chile later this year and details of the course can be found on the Food Industry Engineering website.
