Soaring international demand has seen the value of Scottish salmon exports jump 7% in a year

Export values rose £33 million to £478 million in the first three quarters of the year, confirming Scottish salmon’s place at the UK’s top food export.

The EU remains the biggest export market but export value has soared 40% in Asia.
