Lighthouse Caledonia has signed a software agreement with AKVA group Scotland Ltd for the supply of Fishtalk Control and Fishtalk Value Chain Planner.
The software suite fits into the existing and successful long term preferred supplier agreement between the companies for feeding and sensor equipment.
Fishtalk Control is a powerful role based data management, reporting and analysis software system, whereas Fishtalk Value Chain Planner (VCP) is the biological and financial production planning tool making it easy to predict implications of different production scenarios.
"The software integrates all production and environmental data generated in AkvaControl at the farm, making it directly accessible in Fishtalk Control. This not only provides a detailed production overview , but also the ability to quickly analyse, benchmark, plan and provide role based reports," says Odd Martin Solem, Director PRU Software, AKVA group.
