Knut Nesse has been appointed chairman of the board of AKVA Group following Hans Kristian Mong’s decision to step down.

Hans Kristian Mong has led the board for more than six years and will continue as board member. Knut Nesse has broad international experience of management roles within the seafood sector and has served on AKVA’s board since May 2019. He was chief executive of Skretting from 2006 to 2012 and more recently spent six years as chief executive of Nutreco.
